Vitreous Separation and Lens
Both of my eyes had Vitreous Separations (with small Retinal Tears) 60 days apart. Does anyone have any thoughts on lens for someone with the above problem. My polarized sunglasses are giving me problems. I'm also thinking that if I eliminate bi-focal's the larger lens area will help.

So, I'm thinking of asking my doctor to change my prescription. I'd like to find out first which (non-custom) lenses come in that strength, so I could look... more »

RGP Material
I wore Fluroperm 151 RGP lenses from 1995 until last year when an optometrist recommended that I switch to O2Optix lenses. He said that I would see better with an aspheric design lens. Although I had less of a problem with dust while wearing the larger soft lens, I think my vision was clearer with the RGP lens. For me, I'd rather put up with... more »

Gas Permeable Hard Contacts Scratches
Hi, When gas permeable hard contacts get scratches. What actually happens to the lens? Can anyone point me to any site with magnified view of a lens surface? I'd like to understand what goes on when polishing is done to "remove" the scratches. The technician said some scratches are deep and can't be removed. Can these cause corneal ulcers?... more »

Eye Twitching?
I've noticed my eye to be twitching a lot lately. Its only the right eye and the bottom right side is what twitches a whole lot. I'm wondering what I can do to stop this. I managed to stop smoking marijuana, though I do use eye drops since after heavy of smoking my eyes get red all the time now. Yet, aside from that, what can I do? Thanks!... more »
