I'm guessing that this has come up here before, but I've not been able
to find anything in all my searching.

I'm using a traditional template with the previous posts links in the
sidebar.  The files that those links point to, however, do not have
a .htm or .html extension added to them and so clicking on them brings
up the text file.

I'm not sure where or how to make the file extension happen.

I've found where and how to make it happen for the Archives.
